It was your first real date with Matthew Williams. Sure you had been going out for about a month now but most were double dates with his brother and his girlfriend. This was you first non-double date. You were so excited.

Matthew told you to dress warm but it being the middle of January didn’t give you any real hints to where you were going, which frustrated you beyond comprehension. You still dressed in your favorite coat and a pair of jeans with your (f/c) fuzzy boots.

A knock at your door sent your heart beating a million miles an hour. You stood up from you couch as you flicked the TV off. Opening the door, you saw Matthew standing there, being as cute possible like always.

“(f/n),” Matthew said as he saw you, “shall we go?”

“S- sure,” you stuttered for a bit. Calm down (f/n), you told yourself. Matthew you lead you out to his car as you felt your heart thump nervously.

You pulled up to the ice skating rink and automatically freaked out. You swear you had two left feet and could barely even walk some days, how would you be able to skate?!

“(f/n)? Is everything alright?” Matthew asked, taking his hand in yours.

“Yeah, everything’s fine,” you lied thought your teeth, “let’s go.” You walked into the skating rink, nervous that Matthew might laugh at you for falling but excited that it was your first real date.

You two rented skates and sat down at a bench to find the place surprising quiet. There were a couple skater's here and there but it only felt like you and Matthew.

"You need help?" Matthew asked when he saw you trying to tue your skates. Looking down, you saw it was just a jumble of laces.

"Yeah, please," Matthew bent down and quickly tied you laces, almost at an inhumane speed. "That was fast." You stated bluntly.

"Oh, well I suppose, I have a lot of practice," he blushed in the most adorable manner.

Walking out to the rink, you shivered. It was cold. Like really cold.

"Lets go," Matthew said, grabbing your hand, the two of you started to skate around the rink. For your first time, you seemed to be pretty good. Well, Matthew was the expert.

Slow music started to play over the speakers, "Okay everyone. It's time for couple's skate. All others have to leave." You looked at Matthew and continued to skate. Skating the night away.

You two drove home in Matthew's car. Silence filled the air as he pulled in the driveway. You stepped out, Matthew walking you to your porch.

"I love you, (f/n)," Matthew told you.

"I love you too, Matthew," you told him back. He kissed you gently on the lips, leaving you there in the steps, blushing like a mad woman.
